The software allows E2L learners to take charge of their own education and language development, and with a little direction become autonomous learners.
The Eduk8me range of e-learning supports E2L learners to learn English and become English language speakers more quickly. This in turn raises self esteem and raises standards. We have a number of games in many languages each with multiple levels. The e-lingual support sheets help cement the home-school partnership by encouraging collaboration and understanding. The support sheets are written in the learners home language and English, blending the learning experience with the security and culture of home.
Imagine the same challenges from the point of the child and how they would be feeling. We believe that we can overcome this problem by allowing the teacher to start teaching in English and then press one button and switch to the child’s language that they speak at home and vice versa. The child feels less scared, happier, their self esteem rises, understanding is increased, the parents of the child and their communities are happy and standards for the class and school rise though greater interactivity.
